The Enemy Within Prologue: A knock down drag out fight (Session 7 and 8)

 On the 6th and 13th of march 2026, I ran the 7 and 8th sessions of my home Enemy Within Campaign. late afternoon, 2nd of Nachexen, 2512 The group arrive at Herr Starks shop. Oldenhaller's men move to secure the back alley and the fron the of the store. Our vagabonds however decide that they should probably check the warehouse outback before returning to the shop. Moving within, discover crates full of sausages, and stumble into Stark, another man, and two mutants. The vagabonds charge, and a moment late blades are crossed. The Vagabonds charge puts the diseased creatures on the back foot, and within a few blows they drop one of the mutants while dodging and weaving returned blows.  Then Stark raises an amulet and bellows for Rudi.  From one of the side rooms, a horrific tentacled and diseased  mound of flesh emerges and charges the Vagabonds. The Enemy Within Prologue: Rotten hangover... (Session 6)...

 On the 20th of February 2026, I ran the Sixth session of my home Enemy Within Campaign.  Noon, 2nd of Nachexen, 2512 It isn't until noon that our vagabonds manage to gather, break their fast, and start on their day.  Kleinsen and Uhl, are gripped by a profound hangover holding up Drechsler, who despite having drunk just a much is in fine form. With some vital in them, the vagabonds head first to the green bottle, where, the night before Erik Kleinsen has left the butcher Albrechte in the care of the publican. However, by the time they arrive, the vagabonds discover that the butcher has gone to work, apparently no worse the ware for his indulgence. So, they swing around and head for Albrechte's shop. The Enemy Within Prologue: Mostly drinking... (Session 5)

  Session 5: Mostly drinking... On the 13th of Febuary 2026 I ran the Fifth session of my home  Enemy Within  Campaign.  Evening, 1st of Nachexen, 2512 Confronted with what appears to be a human leg in the half-light, Erik rushes in, only to find that the leg in in fact Albrechte's Prosthesis. Turning to Hanna's amulet, Erik is able to confirm that the locket is Hanna's.  Over at Rudi's room; Connie continues her search. Amongst the mans belongings she discovers a sheet of greasy paper, with writing on, and is able to get Wolfgang and Leopold to read it for her, revealing that the paper was the wrapping for a gift from Emil Stark to Rudi, that was given as an apology for Emil's behaviour at a party hosted by Herr Fleischer. Before Diethart leaves Chez Louis,  he digs a little deeper into the recent jewellery thefts. Identifying who was working when the thefts happened. Planning: Travel out of Nuln (part 4)

Which ever route the Vagabonds take out of Nuln, I am going to need some rumours. Some for the River and some for the Vorbergland. Rumours on the River There's a new crew of wreckers west of Kemperbad, nasty buggers too.  Foreshadows the wrecker's encounter (See Planning: Travel out of Nuln (part 2) ). The Elections in Kemperbad last year were a bit of an upset. Several labour guilds pitched in together to buy a seat on the council, and now town politics is all gummed up. Sets the scene for  future events in Kemperbad, if the Vagabonds choose to spend much time there.  Someones' been buying up all the charcoal produced 'tween Nuln and Kemperbad, and it's been pushing up the price of charcoal in the 'ole o' Reikland. It'll push up the cost of everything soon 'nough. After all, charcoals used in a lot of stuff. The Enemy Within Prologue: Greaves and Wurststaats (Session 4)

Session 4: Greaves and Wurststaats... On the 6th of Febuary  2026 I ran the Fourth session of my home  Enemy Within  Campaign.  Evening, 1st of Nachexen, 2512 The Vagabond split up heading to three separate pubs to chase down leads.  First is Connie. She sets off to the Gunners arms in hope of chasing down Wolfgang, Leopold, and Rudi. However, she struggles to find her way though the city streets, taking an hour to find the place. When she finally does turn up at the pub, she finds it already heaving with men and women up for a night on the down. However, she finds her background as a petty thief has not equipped her well to understand the basics niceties of a social space made for and by people who have served in the state army. Worse still, she has assumed, based on learning about the gunnery schools passing out celebration purchases, that it is being held here. So while trying to talk to the barman to get further information, she managed to upset the man...

Planning: Travel out of Nuln (part 3)

 Keep rolling, rolling, rolling... Onto the Ubersreik. The Vagabonds have a bit more  choice here. While the Tilean song-bird has a  preference for taking the stage coach, she is not wed  to the idea, and if the Vagabonds are agents of Herr  Oldenhaller, it is up to them to choose between stage  and barge. So first of all, we'll cover the stage coach route. Nuln to Konigsdorf  (60 miles. +1 Fatigue) It is bright brisk day as you set out on the road from Nuln to Konigsdorf. The fetter of the city leaves you in its wake quickly, the carriage thunders along some of the best roads in the empire. The Enemy Within Prologue: The sausage man can... (Session 3)

Session 3: The sausage man can...  On the 30rd of January 2026 I ran the third session of my home  Enemy Within  Campaign.  Afternoon, 1st of Nachexen, 2512 The Vagabond head to the second of Herr Fleischer's shop, where they meet the manager, a man named  Albrechte. During their discussion with the obviously drunk Butcher, they learn a little Hanna and Hans, as well as the fact that the Fleischer's used to live in this neighbourhood, and that this was Herr Fleischers second shop. It's a lot busier than than Herr Fleischer's newest shop, the meat's more affordable, and it attracts a lower middle class clientele.     Some of the customers, getting frustrated because the Vagabonds are slowing down Alchrechte, start to joke about how he should go work for "Herr Stark" because then he wouldn't be slowing anyone down, thanks to Stark's lack of customers.          Once they are done with Albrechte, the Vagabonds decide to go and...
