The Enemy Within Prologue: The sausage man can... (Session 3)

Session 3: The sausage man can...  On the 30rd of January 2026 I ran the third session of my home  Enemy Within  Campaign.  Afternoon, 1st of Nachexen, 2512 The Vagabond head to the second of Herr Fleischer's shop, where they meet the manager, a man named  Albrechte. During their discussion with the obviously drunk Butcher, they learn a little Hanna and Hans, as well as the fact that the Fleischer's used to live in this neighbourhood, and that this was Herr Fleischers second shop. It's a lot busier than than Herr Fleischer's newest shop, the meat's more affordable, and it attracts a lower middle class clientele.     Some of the customers, getting frustrated because the Vagabonds are slowing down Alchrechte, start to joke about how he should go work for "Herr Stark" because then he wouldn't be slowing anyone down, thanks to Stark's lack of customers.          Once they are done with Albrechte, the Vagabonds decide to go and...

Planning: Travel out of Nuln (part 2)

...we the undertow...  Regardless of how the Vagabonds end up on the Berebeli heading out of Nuln, we are going to need some events for the journey.  There will be some things that happen on the route which are more about setting up border plots, so I won't detail them here, but I will need  some encounters and events to run along the way to give the feel of the old world, and to help with my players understanding of the scale of the Reik and the empire as a whole.  Looking at the map and doing some quick calculations I've broken the route up into a number of legs, and here they are, along with the encounters the Vagabonds will face along the way. Nuln to Grissenwald ( 62 miles) Through busy waters the Berebeli makes its way. The fields left fallow sown with winter wheat, and pasture glide by in the weak winter sun; slowly turns into forest.
